While staying in Verona we took an excursion to a region north of Verona known for the Valpolicella wines. We left the hotel and traveled about one hour and walked through this little village of San Giorgio Di Valpolicella. At the top there was just a little chapel.
After our brief stop we boarded the bus to our first wine tasting in Sant' Ambrogio. First we had a tour of the vineyards. Many of us sampled the ripe grapes on the vine. How delicious!
Then we had a tour of the beautiful Cantina filled with art work!
Now for the wine tasting! Five different wines! We were so enjoying this day!
