Join chef Paolo Monti and Chef Gianluca Pardini in Tuscany for a week long culinary program Tuscany style.

You will be staying in a 4 star hotel, Hotel Carignano, just outside of Lucca. This comprehensive hands on cooking program will also include a wine tour to Greve in Chianti, which will include a cheese and salami tasting. During your cooking class you will learn to make to make such dishes as meat and fish entrees, ribollita, biscotti, tuscan antipasti, and other tuscan desserts.

As well as the wine tour you will have the opportunity to visit Parma and Siena.

At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate and personalized apron and hat.

The 7 day package at Hotel Carignano in Lucca includes 5 cooking lessons, all dinners and all lunches, wines and tours. Prices are per person in double room.

Itinerary

Day 1:(Sunday) Arrival at the hotel. Welcome drink and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: (Monday) After breakfast your class will begin as 10AM. This class is entitled "The Basic Class". Your class will end approximately at 2:30 and you will have the opportunity to taste the dishes prepared during class. Later in the afternoon you will have the chance to tour the town of Lucca with chef Paolo.

Day 3:(Tuesday) Breakfast will be at 7:30AM which will be followed by a trip to the market. Upon your return to the hotel you will begin your second cooking class. Your afternoon will be free to do as you please. Your dinner will be at 7:45 in a local trattoria.

Day 4: (Wednesday) Breakfast will be very early this morning! After breakfast you will take a trip to Parma to the see the production on Parmesan cheese and prosciutto followed by a light lunch. Later you will return to the hotel. Diner will be at the hotel at 8:30PM.

Day 5: (Thursday) After breakfast you will begin your cooking lesson at 10am. Lunch follows the cooking class. Your afternoon is free to do as you please. Dinner will be at the hotel at 8:00PM.

Day 6: (Friday) After breakfast you will begin your class at 10am. Following your lunch you will have a tour of a nearby vineyard and olive oil mill. Dinner will be in Lucca.

Day 7:(Saturday) Your last class will begin at 9AM. During this class you will learn to make risotto. Your class will end at about noon. At 8:30PM you will have a Graduation Dinner at the hotel and the chef will present certificates.

Day 8: (Sunday) Breakfast and departure.
