The
Rhode School of Cuisine is delighted to present the
home of their new Italian cooking school, Villa Lucia,
located in the Tuscan countryside. Villa Lucia will
serve as your "home base" for exploring one of the most
beautiful regions of Italy. This cooking vacation will
include interesting cultural excursions to Florence,
Lucca and more! Your classes will teach you to prepare
full Italian meals: antipasti, soups, pastas, risotto,
pizza and many delicious desserts including Tiramisu
and biscotti.
Chef
Fabio Guelfi will patiently teach you the skills and
techniques required to prepare beautiful Italian cuisine
in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. His warm personality
will make you feel comfortable and fully capable of
producing some of the most famous dishes. He will teach
you how to select the finest and freshest ingredients.

All accommodations will be in one of the three villas which have their own luxury kitchens, reception rooms and private terrace. Each villa is individually decorated to the highest standards. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and king size top quality beds. All rooms have antique furniture. The main structure of Villa Lucia dates back to the year 500 and the estate will delight you with it anciet grottos and fountains, swimming pools and tennis courts.
