I loved Florence! I really enjoyed both the Language program
and the Cooking classes at Koine. Their style of teaching
was an excellent fit for me. In two weeks I learned enough
Italian to get by (I was surprised at how much I could understand
much more then I cold speak) and was able to hold my own
for the remaining two weeks. I loved the cooking experience
as well. We focused on Tuscan food, and there were no recipes
or measurements as we learned by look, feel, and taste. We
also had nice classes on the Tuscan wines with two day trips
out into wine/olive oil country. (NM)
