Regaleali-Tasca d’Almerita is one of the most important wine-producing estates in Sicily. Most of the food that appears on its tables is produced on the farm: poultry, lamb, sheep’s milk cheese, wheat, olive oil, vegetables and fruit. Its fine wines accompany all meals. Regaleali is located in the “Heart of Sicily,” about one-and-a-half hours’ drive from Palermo. Day courses begin at 10:30am, finish at 3pm and include a cooking lesson (a full-course meal) directed by cooking teacher and cookbook author Anna Tasca Lanza, lunch in the cooking school with Anna’s family, and tasting of Regaleali wines.
