Deposit: The
amount of deposit
required depends
on the nature
of the tour,
program or class
selected. Based
upon the selection
made, clients
will be advised
of the amount
of deposit required
and due date. Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
will not make
any booking or
reservation unless
all required
deposit monies
are paid in full.
At the sole discretion
of Gourmet Getaways,
Inc. a late deposit
may be accepted
subject to payment
of a $100.00
late fee.
Final Payments: Payment in full is due 60 days prior to departure. In some cases, at the sole discretion of Gourmet Getaways Inc., the time for making final payment may vary as specified by Gourmet Getaways, Inc. If payment is not received by the date due or specified, the tour, program or class will be subject to cancellation or forfeiture of deposit.
Reservation
and Booking Fees: In
some cases, depending
on the tour,
program or class
selected, independent
reservation or
booking fees
are applicable
and will be charged
to the client. The
client will be
notified of this
charge.
Other Charges: Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
specializes in
creating customized
tours, programs
and classes to
meet client's
specifications. Occasionally,
charges or costs
not noted elsewhere
will be incurred. The
client will be
advised in this
case.
Prices: Unless
otherwise noted
all prices are
per person based
upon double occupancy. Single
supplement will
result in additional
charges.
All
PRICES ARE SUBJECT
TO CHANGE WITHOUT
NOTICE DUE TO
ECONOMIC OR CURRENCY
FLUCTUATIONS.
Cancellations
and Refunds: There will be NO refunds in the event of cancellations 30 days or less prior to departure. In the event of cancellations more than 30 days prior to departure all refunds will be subject to the individual policies of hotels, cooking schools, tour guides, Gourmet Getaways, etc.
It is recommended that clients purchase travel insurance covering cancellations for medical reasons.
There will be
NO refunds in
the event of
cancellation
of any one -
day cooking classes.
Full refunds will be made in the event Gourmet Getaways, Inc. cancels a tour program or class. Gourmet Getaways, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any tour, program or class at any time before departure for any reason. Gourmet Getaways, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute services of similar quality for any stated in any program or itinerary. In the event of cancellation by Gourmet Getaways, Inc, it will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement, however, the liability of Gourmet Getaways, Inc. is limited to a full refund of payment. There will be no refund for any unused services.

Health
Certification : By
engaging Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
the client
certifies that
he/she has
no condition
or disability
that would
create a hazard
or hardship
to the client
or other participating
clients. Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
makes no representations
or warranties
regarding special
accommodations
of any kind,
including handicapped
accessibility.
Transfers: In
the event that
transfers are
included, arrivals
and departures
are scheduled
for a specific
date, time and
location. It
is the responsibility
of the client
to be at the
transfer location
at the appropriate
time. Changes
in arrival or
departure times
may result in
additional charges. Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
is NOT responsible
for any additional
transfer or transportation
charges that
result from flight
delays or any
other reason.
Liability
or Responsibility: Gourmet Getaways, Inc. is not responsible for any act, or failure to act, of any third party over whom Gourmet Getaways, Inc. has no control. The client agrees that Gourmet Getaways, Inc. as well as its employees, and representatives shall not be responsible for any damages, expenses, or liability resulting from war, strikes, acts of terrorism, government action, weather, illness, theft, or any other cause beyond its control. Gourmet Getaways, Inc. reserves the right to reject any client or to cancel any reservation, in its discretion if circumstances require.
The liability of Gourmet Getaways, Inc. for any claim(s), including claims for consequential damages, made by any client(s) shall be limited to the client’s cost applicable to the tour, program, or class connected to such claim(s).
Promotion: Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
reserves the
right to take
photos or videos
of any of its
programs. The
client specifically
consents to the
use of any photographs
or video materials
by Gourmet Getaways,
Inc. for promotional
and/or commercial
purposes without
payment to the
client.
Passports, Visas or other Documents: It is the
sole responsibility of the client to secure any and
all documents required for their travel in accordance
with all applicable government rules and regulations.
Clients are encouraged to confirm necessary documentation
by contacting the US State Department and/or appropriate
embassies or consulates.
Waiver/Declination of Travel/Trip Cancellation
Insurance: In the event a client has declined
to purchase travel/trip cancellation insurance, the
client’s signature on the tour registration form
shall confirm that the client was specifically informed
of the advisability of obtaining that coverage and has
specifically declined to do so.
Acceptance
of Terms and
Conditions: By
engaging Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.
the client
certifies that
he/she has
read, understands,
and accepts,
without reservation
or modification
all of the
forgoing Terms
and Conditions. In
the event of
any litigation
between client
and Gourmet
Getaways, Inc.,
venue shall
be in the Superior
Court of New
Jersey, Morris
County.
