selected. Based
upon the selection
made, clients
will be advised
of the amount
of deposit required
and due date. Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
will not make
any booking or
reservation unless
all required
deposit monies
are paid in full.
At the sole discretion
of Gourmet Getaways, LLC. a late deposit
may be accepted
subject to payment
of a $100.00
late fee.
Final Payments: Payment in full is due 60 days prior to departure. In some cases, at the sole discretion of Gourmet Getaways Inc., the time for making final payment may vary as specified by Gourmet Getaways, LLC. If payment is not received by the date due or specified, the tour, program or class will be subject to cancellation or forfeiture of deposit.
Reservation
and Booking Fees: In
some cases, depending
on the tour,
program or class
selected, independent
reservation or
booking fees
are applicable
and will be charged
to the client. The
client will be
notified of this
charge.
Other Charges: Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
specializes in
creating customized
tours, programs
and classes to
meet client's
specifications. Occasionally,
charges or costs
not noted elsewhere
will be incurred. The
client will be
advised in this
case.
Prices: Unless
otherwise noted
all prices are
per person based
upon double occupancy. Single
supplement will
result in additional
charges.
All
PRICES ARE SUBJECT
TO CHANGE WITHOUT
NOTICE DUE TO
ECONOMIC OR CURRENCY
FLUCTUATIONS.
Cancellations
and Refunds: There will be NO refunds in the event of cancellations 30 days or less prior to departure. In the event of cancellations more than 30 days prior to departure all refunds will be subject to the individual policies of hotels, cooking schools, tour guides, Gourmet Getaways, etc.
It is recommended that clients purchase travel insurance covering cancellations for medical reasons.
There will be
NO refunds in
the event of
cancellation
of any one -
day cooking classes.
Full refunds will be made in the event Gourmet Getaways, LLC. cancels a tour program or class. Gourmet Getaways, LLC. reserves the right to cancel any tour, program or class at any time before departure for any reason. Gourmet Getaways, LLC. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute services of similar quality for any stated in any program or itinerary. In the event of cancellation by Gourmet Getaways, LLC., it will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement, however, the liability of Gourmet Getaways, LLC. is limited to a full refund of payment. There will be no refund for any unused services.

Health
Certification : By
engaging Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
the client
certifies that
he/she has
no condition
or disability
that would
create a hazard
or hardship
to the client
or other participating
clients. Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
makes no representations
or warranties
regarding special
accommodations
of any kind,
including handicapped
accessibility.
Transfers: In
the event that
transfers are
included, arrivals
and departures
are scheduled
for a specific
date, time and
location. It
is the responsibility
of the client
to be at the
transfer location
at the appropriate
time. Changes
in arrival or
departure times
may result in
additional charges. Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
is NOT responsible
for any additional
transfer or transportation
charges that
result from flight
delays or any
other reason.
Liability
or Responsibility: The carriers, hotels/lodges, guides and other suppliers providing services are independent contractors and are not principals, agents, employers, employees, representatives, partners, or joint ventures of Gourmet Getaways, LLC. The program participant agrees that Gourmet Getaways, LLC, shall not be liable for any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of those independent contractors and is not liable for any injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, death, delay or expense occasioned by any supplier providing services, or of any other person or from any occurrence or condition beyond the control of Gourmet Getaways, LLC. Gourmet Getaways, LLC, is not liable for any act, error, omission, negligence or misconduct of any third party, or for any injury, damage or loss related thereto. All certificates or other travel documents for services issued by Gourmet Getaways, LLC, are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier thereof, and to the laws of the countries in which the services are rendered.
All itineraries, fares, costs, and fees may be affected by alternations or delays in the air or surface transportation services of the various countries. Gourmet Getaways, LLC, reserves the right to withdraw any tour or program, but is not obligated to substitute another tour or program, and to make such alternations in itineraries as may be found desirable for the convenience of clients or the proper operation of the tour. If the services included in a tour or program cannot be supplied, or there are changes in an itinerary or accommodation for any reason, Gourmet Getaways, LLC, may arrange for the provision of comparable services, when possible. Gourmet Getaways, LLC, reserves the right to cancel, advance, or postpone any program at any time, and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to clients by reason of any such cancellation, advancement or postponement. In the event of cancellation by Gourmet Getaway, LLC, the participant's only right of recourse shall be to a refund of monies paid to Gourmet Getaways, LLC. Gourmet Getaways, LLC, is not responsible for any act, or failure to act, over of third party over whom Gourmet Getaways, LLC, has no control. The client agrees that Gourmet Getaway, LLC, as well as its employees and representatives shall not be responsible for any damages, expense or liability resulting from war, strikes, acts of terrorism, government action, weather, illness, theft, or any other cause beyond its control. Gourmet Getaways, LLC, reserves the right to reject any client or to cancel any reservation if, in its discretion, circumstances require.
Gourmet Getaway, LLC, makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information contained in brochures, newsletters, mailings, internet sites, correspondence, invoices, or in any other media where such information may be presented, but is not responsible for omissions, printing and/or typographical errors. Gourmet Getaways, LLC, reserves the right to make corrections as required.
The terms and conditions stated herein constitute the entire agreement between Gourmet Getaways, LLC, and the client/participant and supersede all prior discussions and agreements, oral and written, related to the booking. The payment of a deposit by the client shall be deemed as acceptance of this Agreement. This Agreement is entered into by the parties in Morris County, New Jersey, and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to conflicts of law principals. In the event that any legal or equitable action is initiated concerning this Agreement, or any obligation or duties related thereto, the exclusive venue of such action shall be solely in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris County, New Jersey, or in the United States District Court, Newark, New Jersey. It is agreed that any action must be filed within one-year following the scheduled date of completion of the tour or booking. It is understood that Gourmet Getaways, LLC, is accepting the client's booking in reliance upon the client's acceptance of this Agreement.
No person, other than an authorized representative of Gourmet Getaways, LLC, by a document in writing is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this brochures, including any term or condition contained herein.
Promotion: Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
reserves the
right to take
photos or videos
of any of its
programs. The
client specifically
consents to the
use of any photographs
or video materials
by Gourmet Getaways, LLC. for promotional
and/or commercial
purposes without
payment to the
client.
Passports, Visas or other Documents: It is the
sole responsibility of the client to secure any and
all documents required for their travel in accordance
with all applicable government rules and regulations.
Clients are encouraged to confirm necessary documentation
by contacting the US State Department and/or appropriate
embassies or consulates.
Waiver/Declination of Travel/Trip Cancellation
Insurance: In the event a client has declined
to purchase travel/trip cancellation insurance, the
client’s signature on the tour registration form
shall confirm that the client was specifically informed
of the advisability of obtaining that coverage and has
specifically declined to do so.
Acceptance
of Terms and
Conditions: By
engaging Gourmet Getaways, LLC.
the client
certifies that
he/she has
read, understands,
and accepts,
without reservation
or modification
all of the
forgoing Terms
and Conditions. In
the event of
any litigation
between client
and Gourmet Getaways, LLC.,
venue shall
be in the Superior
Court of New
Jersey, Morris
County.
