 Imagine taking a cooking lesson in a private home in Florence! It is possible! Silvia Maccari, who speaks fluent English, was born and raised in Italy. It was her grandmother that fostered her love of cooking. She has taught cooking for many years and has published several Italian cookbooks.
So, become a Tuscan cook for the day! Your lesson will begin at 8:30 AM in the morning at the market where you and Silvia will shop for the freshest ingredients to help you create your own authentic Italian dinner. Together you will prepare a full menu that includes the antipasto, pasta, main dish and side dish, and of course, a dessert. Let us not forget the wine! |

The cooking class was the highlight of our trip. Silvia was very nice. We toured the food market in Florence and then went to a baker. We picked up a lot of great ideas!
I really enjoyed my cooking class with Silvia, She is a wonderful and lady and I highly recommend taking the class. I wish I had scheduled another day with her. I will have to wait for my next trip to Italy, which hopefully wouldn't be too far away!
