Saturday – Depart the US
Sunday – Arrive in Rome. Meet the transfer and relax as the bus takes us to beautiful Sorrento. After we arrive at the hotel and check in everyone is free to explore the town of Sorrento. We will meet at the hotel at 8pm and then we will walk to the restaurant ‘Il Buco’ for a wonderful dinner.
 Monday – After breakfast we will take transfer to Positano for our one and only cooking class in a well-known restaurant “Il Ritrovo”. After our lesson we will eat the fruits of our labor and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the Amalfi coast. When we finish our lunch, which will be about 3pm we will have time to explore the beautiful town of Positano before we take the transfer back to Sorrento. Dinner on your own. (You may not need a full meal)
Tuesday – After breakfast, at 10:30 our guide will meet us at the hotel and we will be transfer to the beautiful countryside of Sorrento. We will visit an Olive grove and have an olive oil tasting. After we will visit a Lemon Factory and enjoy a tasting of lemoncello, which Sorrento and the Amalfi coast is famous for. We will taste two wines from this region before we have lunch in a family-run restaurant. During this time we will stop to take in the beautiful vistas of Capri. We will return to Sorrento by 3pm at which time everyone will have free time to shop in Sorrento. Dinner will be on your own.
 Wednesday – Following breakfast we will be transferred to the town of Amalfi, which is famous for it hand-made paper. Shortly after we will then go to Ravello, 900 ft. above Amalfi, and visit this very romantic village which is filled with ceramics. We will then have a fantastic lunch prepared by Mamma Agata and enjoyed in her beautiful home in Ravello, which is located on a cliff 1000 feet above sea level, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Mamma Agata’s cuisine has been enjoyed by such celebrities as: Humphrey Bogart Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy. This should be an unforgettable experience. Before we head back to Sorrento we will have the time to shop in one or two ceramic factories.
Thursday – After breakfast we will take the transfer back to Rome. We will stop in Caserta and tour the beautiful palace, which was built for the Bourbon King Charles III, who dreamed of another Versailles. We should arrive mid afternoon in Rome. We will check into our 4 star hotel. Free time to do as you please. Lunch and dinner on your own.
Friday – After breakfast we will have
a tour of the Underground in Rome. After the tour you
will have free time to explore the many wonders of Rome. (Lunch and dinner on your own). While in Rome we will experience the delicious gelato and the oldest coffee house.
Saturday – After breakfast we will tour the Borghese Villa. Afterwards free time to do as you please. Everyone will meet for our final dinner together! (Lunch on your own.)
Sunday – After an early breakfast we will be transferred to the Rome airport for our flight home.
