Our One-Day tours this Fall took everyone to different parts of NYC.

September brought us to the Bronx, and our tour of 'the other Little Italy', were we sampled fresh mozzarella and olive oil at Mike's Deli located in the Arthur Avenue Market. Everyone enjoyed the Tuscan wines which we sampled at Mt. Carmel Wine and Spirits. This store has an excellent selection of Italian wines and liquors.

Spooky Trails! In October we toured the Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn, which was established in 1838. It is one of the world's great historic cemeteries and offers a panoramic view of Manhattan and the New York harbor.

The Chocolate Show in November was a chocoholics paradise! Before the show everyone had the chance to explore the six - floors at the ABC Carpet and Home store. The first floor had beautiful Christmas and holiday displays, which put everyone in the spirit. We had a delicious light lunch at Le Pain Quotidien before heading over to the show. At the 8 th annual Chocolate Show were many exhibitors offering samples of their delicious chocolates, cookbooks galore and culinary demonstrations offered at two theatres. We all concluded that it satisfied our craving for chocolate and it was well worth the adventure!

The sold out trip to Grand Central Station and Holiday shopping will take place at the end of November and I am sure all of us will have a wonderful time touring, sampling, having lunch and shopping for the holiday!
